Englebert, The Last Waltz

I'm going to Surrey Quays tomorrow to buy the Englebert Humperdinck compilation CD, '50'. I've always liked his music since I was young. The song I particularly remember, is The Last Waltz, which came out in 1967. Anyway, on the album there are 39 songs, so  it should pretty much cover/represent, all he has done over the years.

my tv in 70s

In the early 70s I watch shows like The Foster, On the Buses, The Sweeney and Man about the House. I did not watch the news, sport or chat shows.


In the late 70s the TV shows I watch were Dallas, Robin Nest, Minder, Top of the Pops and Emmerdale Farm. outside this group I watch little else TV.

The Sweeney

A show of the 70s that I hope to get on dvds is The Sweeney.


The Sweeney was one of the top shows of the 70s in the uk. It was the best cop show of the 70s. The two main stars were John Thaw and Dennis Waterman were perfect together in the show.

One of the 80s big TV show that I hope to get on dvds is the A-Team.


This run for 5 seasons and 98 episodes in total. the 4 stars of the show were George Peppard, Dirk Benedict, Dwight Schuitz and Mr T.

new allen film

Out on 12 May 2017 in the UK is the 2nd prequel to the 1979 alien film. This film is call alien: covenant. This is the six overall film of the alien series.

This film that i'm looking to get when it come out in Nov on DVD is Alien: Covenant. the film come out on May 12th.

la la land

This week I'm taking about one of the big film of 2016 that now out on dvd.


La La Land is film that has won lots of  awards include 6 academy awards.


The dvd came out April 2017.

This week I will be taking about the alien nation 1988 film which is out on dvd now.


I like the film when when it come out in 1988. It buddy cop in sci-fi setting was new in 88. After this film there was a short lived TV show of the same name it ran for 22 episodes.
