Mari Wilson is singer who had one big hit call 'Just what I always wanted'.
she been in the music world since the 80s. she it's still making albums today, her last was this year (2016) call Pop Deluxe.

One of the cd that I hope to get this xmas is, Best: The greatest hits of S Club 7.


This cd come out 2003. It got 15 songs on the album. 


This cd was re-release in 2015 with 2 new songs on it.

bill other stuff

There is a new film call Sully: Miracle on The Hudson. It come out this Friday at all cinema.


It stared Tom Hank as captain 'Sully' Sullenberger who help land a plane on the Hudson river in real life.


I hope to get the film when it cone out in April or May 2017

I an looking to get a Glenn Miller cd for Christmas this year. the audio cd I choose is 100 hits legends: Glenn Miller, a 5 cd set.



A 2nd cd call "Top of The Pop Christmas", is a 2cds set with 37 songs on it. It has all the Christmas songs you like.

Inferno and music cds

There is a new Tom Hanks film call Inferno which is the 3 part of trio which begin with "The Da Vinci Code" followed by "Angels and Demons".


I hope to go see this film at the cinema by the end of November, if not I've will get the dvd next year.


In the next few days I will go shopping to get some cds. One of the cds is the Dreamboats and Petticoats 10th anniversary (4 cds) box set. I also hope to get a 3cds Top of the Pops 1995 - 2000 set.

Shopping trip

I got 2 box sets of cds this past weekend. One was call "The Best Rock 'N' Roll album in the world ever". This was a 3 discs set. I also got a 5 discs box set call "Legends of Rock 'N' Roll" -100 hits.


I also got 2 dvds, one is call X-Man Apocalypse. The other dvd was "Now You See Me 2. I did the shopping in Stratford in east London. The shop that I use was HMV.

For music cds I would like for xmas, one that I seen is a 8cds sets call The Original Rock 'N' Roll Jukebox. It has all the hits from 1955 to 1962.


A 2 cds sets call Shakin' All Over (The best of British Rock 'N' Roll). This sets featuring: Cliff Richard, Marty Wilde, Tommy Steele and Joe Brown and many more.

the big short film

The 2015 film The Big Short is a film that I hope to get on dvd soon. The film has stars like Christian Bale, Steve Carell and Brad Pitt to name a few. The dvd is out now.


I am looking forward to watching the film with all the stars in it. It one of the films on my xmas list.

the london palladinm

I am looking at getting the five dvd box set of Sunday night at the London palladium. It was a uk TV show that ran from 1955-1980.


I was not around when this TV show was first on in the 50s and 60s. I was not that old when it come back in the mid 1970s. the dvds will help me see all the old acts in there primed.

The Good Wife

A TV show I've seen in the last few weeks, is The Good Wife. It a drama show that all right. I hope to get it on dvd some time soon.


I hope to get the final season 7 of The Good Wife. The dvd come out on the last day of October.

inferno 2016 film

I hope to see this film at a cinemas near me when it come out this Friday 14th October 2016. I seen the first two parts of this 3-part on dvd.




The first two films of this 3-part, were very good films. The two films were called The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons.

2017 Eurovision Song Contest

The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, will be held in Kyiv in the Ukraine. Graham Norton is currently presenting the programme to find the UK song entry for the competition.(update: the uk entries will be Lucie Jones with Never Give Up On You. 


The contest will begin on Tuesday May 9th and end Saturday May 13th

I've got the dvd from the 2016 competition. It's very entertaining and interesting to see artists, from different countries, perform their songs in English. I would prefer that they performed them in the original language.


Update: we one week away from the Eurovision song contest. All the acts are now know. Who will win at the grand final.

The Girl on the Train

There was a new film that come out last September 2016 call "The Girl on the Train". I like the look of the film.


The film is coming out on dvd on February 6 2017. I hope to get the dvd when it come out.

my friend muizz

I first met muizz in the first decade of this century around 2005-2006. he was a good people when I first meet him. In the last few years he had become more of a friend to me at the Bede.

dvds from Christmas

I hope to get 3 dvds for Christmas this yeas the dvds are Jason Bourne, Star Trek: Beyond and Ice Age: Collision Course.


All 3 dvds will be out by December 2016. I may get more dvds as well.

shopping weekend

I went to Brixton this past weekend to do some shopping to get some DVDs. Two of the films were Double Jeopardy (1999) and Iron Man 3 (2013).


I did the shopping on Saturday. I had time to have lunch out. I what to Jenny's restaurant at the Elephant and Castle shopping centre.

My Olympic 2016

I saw lots of Olympic sport like rowing, sailing, boxing, swimming and basketball. Team GB did as well as any overseas Olympic even.


I've enjoy all the Olympic action, most like the athletics and fencing.

Heartbeat

I'm a big fan of music from the 1960's.There's a lot to choose from, but I really like the song Heartbeat (and the series that it was the tune for). Nick Berry sings a cover of the Buddy Holly song, but through the programme, tracks from the 1960's are played in the background. There's one particular CD compilation I would like to buy: Heartbeat: The very best of (58 tracks). Maybe I'll get it at Christmas!

One of my fav TV show Celebrity Big Brother is back on air now. it has 15 new housemates this time around.


My 3 favorites housemates so far are Andrey O'Day, Chloe Khan and Marnie Simpson.

New Ghostbusters

I am looking to see the new Ghostbusters movie at Surrey Quays. I saw the two Ghostbusters in the 1980s which I like a lot.


If I don't get to see the movie at the cinema, I will get the dvd when it come out October 2016.

There a new film that I hope to get on dvd call Now You See Me 2. This it the sequel to "Now You See Me". The dvd is out at the end of year.


The stars of the film included Woody Harrelson, Morgan Freemon and Michael Caine.

new films 2016

There are 2 new films that are coming in the next 4 weeks. the new films are: Star Trek Beyond and The Legend of Tarzan.


The Tarzan is out the July 6th, when the Star Trek is out 22 July.


The dvds of the new films will be out November or December 2016. I hope to get the dvds for Christmas.

summer activities 2016

I found out the dates for the summer activates of 2016. the only one that I've be doing is the adventure day on the June 28th.


I might do some more summer activities when I get more info.

new small appliances

I hope to get some new appliances by the end of year. One will be a hot drinks machine. A hair dryer is the other electric thing to buy.

house stuff

In my home, I have a 42in LG TV in front room. I also have a Bose radio. we have a 2nd TV downstairs. I have a Bose wave music system 3.


I listen to my cds with speakers on my radio. In my kitchen, we have a kitchen island with fridge freezer combo.


we also have a oven and washing machine.


I got a new fryer last week. it's a Tefal actifry xl. I've already use it and the clips were very good.

My music collection is all cds. I got my 1st cd in the 90s. My cds go from the 50s to today music.


The types music go from rock and roll, pop all the way to Japan classical music.




I storage my cds in some boxes in my bedroom. I play my cds on a Bose wave music system 3.

my 60s music like

Last week I'm was shopping for music cds to do with rock and roll and 60s music. Today I talk about 60s music.


My favourite 60s bands are: The Beatles, Rolling Stones and The Monkees. My favourite solo artists are Jerry Lee Lewis and Neil Sedaka.


The 60s cd I hope to buy is a 5 cds box set. It has 20 songs per cd, 100 songs in total.


The 3 words I use about 60s music are: fun, good and great.

Independence Day: Resurgence

The new Independence Day film call Resurgence is out June 24 at the cinemas.


The 3 main cast of the film are Jeff Goldblum, Liam Hemsworth and Bill Pullman.


I have not seen the first Independence Day yet, but I hope to get the dvd when I go shopping this coming Thursday.

Eurovision 2016 recap

I like this year Eurovision overall. I like the Greece song in 1st semi final. In the grand final I like the Austria song by Zoe. The Ukraine were the right winners.

Tommy Lee Jones has two new films coming out in 2016 called Jason Bourne and Mechanic: Resurrection.


Mechanic: Resurrection is crime thriller. Jason Bourne is 1st up a action thriller with Matt Damon as well. This film is out July 28th.


Tommy Lee has one film out this year call Criminal and play Dr Franks. This film also star Kevin Costner and Ryan Reynolds in a action drama.

My blogging life so far

This is my 100th post. I began my blog in 2014. I'm so happy to get to a 100 posts so fast.


The subjects I've talked about so far include TV, film, music, events, and what I do in the week.


My TV posts are about soap operas, sitcoms from the 70s and 80s, and cop dramas.


As far as film goes, I've talked about action and science fiction.


Music - 60s to 80s - includes rock and roll and Japanese (classical). I've also written about events like Eurovision, Bede events and big sporting events.


I talk about what I do at Bede, volunteer work, and what I do at the weekend at home, and holiday away.

summer activities

My favourite activity in the summer is the seaside trip with Bede. My next favourite would be the boat trip. The third would be an art activities at Bede.


The seaside trip has 3 towns for us to choose from. We vote over a 3-week period, and the town with the most votes is the winner. We've been to Brighton and Littlehampton in the last 5 years.


The boat trip goes for Westminster to Greenwich piers. We have our lunch in Greenwich park before getting the bus back to Bede.


The art activity is two type to choose one or both. We have a indoor activity and one that both indoor and outdoor.

my home

My house has 3 floors and a garden. in my home, it's has 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Mum and dad live with me. The home is near both the Elephant and Castle and Camberwell.

My garden is big square area. It has flowers beds. It has a allotment (small).

shopping time

I what shopping this past weekend with mum and dad. I got some dvd including Grease 2, Air Force one and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.


I got my dvds at shopping centre in London. I had lunch at the shopping centre and had a ham roll and a cup of coffee.

I hope to see this film at the cinema now that it  open two Friday ago.


I hope that the stars of the film Helen Mirren and  the late Alan Rickman are at the top of there power.  

The Homesman

I have a dvd at home call The Homesman which has Tommy Lee Jones. I like this movie lots, I give this 10 out of 10.



I like the acting in the movie. the story was all right. the look of the movie was good.

Eurovision Song Contest 2016

The Eurovision 2016 final is taking place on May 14th 2016 in Stockholm, Swedish.


United Kingdom are representing by Joe and Jake with You're Not Alone. UK have done every Eurovision since 1956.


I'm looking forward to this year Eurovision and listing to all the songs.

Star Trek Beyond Official Trailer #1 (2016) - Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto...

The new Star Trek is coming out in July. It stars Zoe Saldana, Sofia Boutella, and Shohreh Aghdashloo. Chris Pine plays Captain Kirk and Zachary Quinto plays Mr Spock.


The Enterprise is nearly destroyed and the crew is stranded on a planet. How will they ever get back home?

Fast and Furious 6 - We Own It music video

Fast and Furious 6 has lots of cars crashing into each other - especially police cars. The FBI kicks someone's door in to arrest them.


One of the two men in the house gets kidnapped. The money gets stolen blown up. It's very good. I've got it at home on DVD.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Official Trailer

Batman vs Superman comes out on Friday March 25th, which is Good Friday. I'd like to see it. I've always liked Superman and Batman so I think it will be good.

X MEN APOCALYPSE Trailer 2016

X-Men Apocalypse is coming to cinemas on May 19th. Michael Fassbender plays Magneto. It looks good, alright!

Independence Day 2 looks very good. It's all about aliens attacking the Earth - though they seem to be concentrating on America!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

I've got 3 discs of old Star Wars films at home. I think they're very good. I watched them on Saturday night. I'd like to see the new Star Wars film. I didn't see it at the cinema because I forgot to go, but I will rent it when it comes out on DVD. The trailer looks good!

rolling stones

A band I like a lot are the Rolling Stones. They were a band I heard in the early 70s. My top three Rolling Stones songs are: Satisfaction (I can't get no), She's A Rainbow, and Mother's Little Helper.

Elton John

I heard Elton John for the first time in the 1970s. The first song of Elton that I heard was Rocket Man in 1972.


I've listened to lots of Elton songs over the years. My three fave Elton John songs are Candle in The Wind, The Way You Make Me Feel, and Rocket Man.

I do not listing too much radio, but I do like Smooth Radio and Classic FM.


I listen to the radio in the morning.

One of the films I am looking to go and watch in 2016 is Independence Day 2: Resurgence. It come on 24th June 2016, the dvd of this film come out at the end of 2016



The 2nd film I hope to see is Star Trek: Beyond. This film is out 22th July 2016, the dvd come out around Dec 2016.



The 3th film I hope to see is Captain America: Civil War which come out April 29th 2016.

Bill's new things to do 2016

Bill will go to parts of London he has not yet been to like Croydon, Richmond, Brent, Haringey and Redbridge.


Bill would like to go on boating trip on the river Thames. Bill would also like to go see the City Airport.


Bill would like to go and see Westminster Abbey, British Museum and St Paul Cathedral.


I would also like to see the National Gallery, Madame Tussauds and the Victoria and Albert museum.


Outside of London I would like to go to Liverpool for a weekend.

2016:films

I'm going to buy the original Star Trek series box set in February ( I'm saving for it ). Obviously, it's the one I prefer, with the original characters and stories. 
                                                                                   I would like to go and see the new Star Wars film. I've seen all the other films in the series and though I mostly enjoyed them, I'm not a huge fan.
    
There are quite a few films I would like to see in the cinema this year, but if  I don't go, then I'll wait for them to come out on dvd...as I normally do - and then add them to my collection!
